Golf & Yacht Events have been organizing a very successful golf competition, the Business Golf Championship at Bükfürdő since 2001. Our beloved guests and sponsors have been long expressing their wish that they would not like to sit idle for a full year inbetween every competition, so, in 2006, when the Bükfürdő event turned 6 years old, the decision was born to organise a similar competition in the same year, in September. From the start, however, the conception was somewhat different, in that this event were to be only one day long, and for that purpose be organised at a golf course near to Budapest. During the years the role of the host fell on the following Golf Clubs:

• Old Lake Golf Club – Tata,
• Pólus Palace Golf Club – Göd,
• Budapest Highland Golf Club,
• Academy Golf Budapest,
• Pannónia Golf & Country Club.

Similarly, the circle of invitees partly consists of previous guests and sponsors of the Business Golf Championship at Bükfürdő, mainly meaning the heads and proprietors of companies in various business segments, and, on the other hand, their invited V.I.P. guests and clients, altogether some 300 participants.

Naturally, the core of the event, will be the golf competition itself, not to be missed. Even here we wanted to make sure, that our non-golfing guests also would have a great time, and for that purpose several arrangements were made especially for them, such as introductory course to golfing, rabbit (beginners) competition and a tour of the track. Besides of these we can mention the very popular archery course, air soft ball shooting, hot air ballooning and a short trip with a helicopter. Children were catered for in a mini fair ground (bull rodeo, jumping castle, electric go-carts, clowns), and could put on a jolly face with the help of a face painter artist. And last but not least, ladies were entertained by make-up consultants and face massage, skin diagnostics and a fortune teller, a display of luxurious jewerly being on the top of their list. Becoming now some kind of a tradition, the Manager Cup hosts a leading automobile brand, the dealer of which brings its latest and best models to the event, making it memorable with a test drive. Finally, we should not forget the delicious culinary experience – sponsored by participating food supplier companies - of the golf club either.
